If you're looking for an object-oriented programming language that's modern, modular, extensible and easy to use, then ooc might be just what you need. One of the main benefits of ooc is that it translates into C, making it highly portable and ubiquitous, as well as being almost as fast as C. This also means that it's simple to see how the language works "under the hood".

If you're interested in experimenting with the compiler, there are graphical step-by-step compiling tools available. This allows you to add new features or fix existing bugs as needed.

The standard library is still in development, but it's currently inspired by Java's standard APIs for Collections. It's worth noting that the main implementation of the ooc compiler is currently in Java, though the plan is to rewrite it in ooc itself when the project is mature enough.
