The PC-1600v is a MIDI controller resembling the Peavey brand, with customizable software for device control, pitch bending, and sustain features.
I recently had the opportunity to test out the PC-1600v software, a virtual version of the popular Peavey MIDI controller. As an emulation of the original PC 1600x, the program allows for remote preset editing and easy preset dumping to the physical PC 1600(x).
But even if you don't have the original controller, the PC-1600v can still be incredibly useful - it provides control over any MIDI device thanks to its ability to send custom SysEx commands.
Of course, one important thing to note is that you'll need a CoreMIDI-compatible MIDI interface to use this software effectively. If you've got one, though, you'll be able to take advantage of everything the PC-1600v has to offer.
It's also worth noting that there is a demo version available, which offers all of the features of the full version except for the ability to save and dump preset and scene data. That said, even in demo mode, the PC-1600v proved to be a powerful tool for MIDI control and editing.
