As a result, neither apache nor any apache (shell) CGI scripts can directly access AppleEvent applications like Applescripts, due to the way that Apple implemented OS-X.

Fortunately, PeacePipe can resolve this issue. It was designed to free the locked-in Applescript CGIs that were once inaccessible. This software serves as a solution to unlock the wall that was previously created around the Applescript CGIs.

Furthermore, PeacePipe continues to improve with each release. The latest update has made changes such as altering the delimiter character on cgi-pipe to tab and flushing the log file more frequently.
