Peng2illa is an exhilarating Pong clone inside a circular arena that is free to play. This game is lightning fast and incredibly tricky, providing players with a completely new challenge. The game is hosted and developed by nukular, an independent development studio located in Zug, Switzerland. When players first enter Peng2illa, they should focus on finding an opponent. If they are unable to find any players online, they can practice against the bots. Although the bots are not the brightest, they are better than having no opponent at all. Each player has 10 HP at the start of the match, and the game ends when only one team is left. Players must try to damage their opponents using one of three methods: placing and detonating mines, jumping and bouncing on an enemy three times in a row, or charging the ball to devastate their opponents with lightning bolts.
Lightning bolts are the deadliest weapons in the player's arsenal, and they should concentrate on mastering them. Every time the ball leaves the inner circle, it discharges and damages the players proportionally to the charge strength. Players can control their vehicle's movements using the mouse's x-axis, and they can use left mouse, middle mouse, or right mouse buttons to brake, buy and use power-ups, and jump, respectively.
In addition to these basic controls, players can use insert to start a new game if they are the admin of the game, backtick or paragraph to show message history, tab to show player names while pressed, shift+tab to toggle display player names, all keys to write chat messages, enter to send chat messages during the game, pageup/pagedown to change mouse sensitivity (15 is the recommended setting), and + (numpad) to switch to the next song in the playlist or disable music if the last song has played.
