This software is a server-side PHP/JavaScript interpreter designed to run PHP and JavaScript scripts.
I recently had the opportunity to test out a new scripting language interpreter implemented in PHP. This interpreter offers an interesting feature, the ability to execute JavaScript-lookalike code server-side without compromising security. This is achieved by running everything safely within a sandbox.
As expected, the interpreter is slightly slower than a true interpreter, but still offers a valuable use case. It can be easily integrated into CMS/Wiki engines to allow users to extend a site's dynamic functions. By allowing access to specific (interface) functions and even PHP variables, the interpreter can be connected to the hosting interpreter (PHP).
