Plasmidb

The Plasmidb project is an interface to a MySQL database designed to provide information about projects in molecular biology. The database primarily focuses on bacterial plasmids, protein sequences, and DNA sequences of target genes. What makes Plasmidb unique is its extensibility - users can add data types into SQL tables and write interfaces to make it easier to edit.

Though Plasmidb is still a work-in-progress, I have found the database to be remarkably useful. The database stores user and session info, ensuring that only logged-in users can view and edit data. Overall, Plasmidb is a promising project in the realm of molecular biology databases that can benefit researchers and scientists.
