PlayLyrix generates a playlist from your iTunes library by searching for specific lyrics or phrases in song lyrics.
PlayLyrix is a great software that searches through your iTunes collection to create a new playlist of all the songs whose lyrics contain specified words or phrases. This feature is especially helpful when you want to create playlists of songs with lyrics that reinforce a variety of moods or themes.
For example, if it's your birthday today, you might want to create a playlist of all your songs that have the word "birthday" in the lyrics. PlayLyrix will compare the lyrics database with your iTunes library and will create a new iTunes playlist containing any matching songs. It will also create a list of songs containing the specified lyrics - this feature even includes songs which are not in your iTunes library.
If you ever want to see the lyrics of a particular song, simply click on "Show lyrics" and voilà! Also, if you want to purchase the song from the iTunes Store, just click on "Buy song".
Finally, to use PlayLyrix, you'll need iTunes 4.5 or later. Please note that in demo mode, the song database search results will be limited to the first 200 songs.
