PlotDrop

PlotDrop is a software designed to quickly and easily visualize 2D data series without the need for complex capabilities of GNUPlot. It is intended for users who require a fast solution to visualize data without a steep learning curve.

This software is designed to be used alongside an external filesystem browser, such as GNOME's Nautilus or KDE's Konqueror. To add data files, simply drag and drop them from the browser to the file list. It is recommended that data files should be flat, simple files like the ones preferred by GNUPlot.

To plot a data series, simply set the integer of that particular series in the plot list. If users need to plot multiple series, they need to add a file more than once and set a different series number on each entry.

PlotDrop requires GTK+ 2.4 (earlier versions untested), libgnomevfs and libglade. Thus, users need to ensure these dependencies are met to run the software successfully.
