The PrintEngine KHPE 2.0© is an ActiveX control for Visual Basic (version 6 and above) that offers an object library for printing, different types of barcodes, page preview, report saving, and email sending. With simple and efficient code, users can create reports with graphics, tables, barcodes, and more. They can choose to either print the report immediately or display a WYSIWYG page preview with a zoom function by changing a single flag.
Reports can be saved as a file, and image files can be stored either in the file or as a path reference. Alternatively, users can attach their report or other files as email attachments and send them directly from the code. No MIME application or other controls are required for email sending.
The object library is easy to program, as straightforward as the Printer object. The unit of measurement for displaying characters and graphics is 1/10 mm. An online help and an example program in source code format are included.
