ProPad

ProPad is a development environment designed specifically for web-based applications. This software is incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate, as it is based on the structure of a text editor. Nevertheless, the software provides developers with a plethora of handy features.

ProPad boasts an impressive range of features, including highlighters for most file formats, parsers for XML/XSL, HTML, PHP, CSS, Pascal, JScript, and INI files, and the ability to code and execute your own Pascal scripts. Completion proposals for standard code are also included, making development a breeze.

In addition to these tools, the Inspektor makes exchanging values and data incredibly easy. The software even includes internal FTP access, allowing for easy collaboration with remote teams. For those who prefer to work offline, ProPad offers an internal Java Compiler Plugin (requires Sun Java).

The software supports multiple export formats such as RTF, HTML page, UUE encoded, Base64 encoded, and ProPad Archives (an internal compressed and encrypted format). Similarly, many import formats are supported, including graphic files (42 different formats), UUE and Base64 files, and ProPad Archives. A comfortable printer preview and printer setup, as well as a personal assistant (which does not require any MS Agents) are also included.

Furthermore, users can easily add and remove their own tools and integrate them seamlessly within ProPad. Finally, the software's internal update function ensures that you always have the latest version.
