The history of pwman goes back several years when the original version - pwman1 - was written by the developer before he went to university. However, due to time constraints, the application fell into disuse and was essentially abandoned. Until a few days ago, that is, when the developer couldn't find any password management software he liked on the web and decided to write his own. That's when pwman3 came into being.
Pwman2 was created in the interim period but was never released because the code never reached a stage that was acceptable for the developer. So when pwman3 was created, the developer decided to bump it up from pwman2 to pwman3.
To install pwman3, users need to ensure that several packages are installed beforehand, such as python-pysqlite2, python-crypto, and python-celementtree (for Debian, packages might differ for other operating systems). Source and binary packages can be downloaded from the download page.
As for bugs, the developer hasn't found any in pwman3 yet but, as with all software, it's recommended that users backup their passwords regularly to avoid any unforeseen incidents.

So not only can you store your passwords securely, but you can also exchange passwords with other users as well.
