QMailFilter

QMailFilter is a software add-on that can be easily integrated into Microsoft Office Outlook 97 to 2010. It is specifically designed to protect against spammers, viruses, unsolicited emails, and harmful HTML code. Bayes filtering technology is used in QMailFilter, which identifies up to 99% of incoming spam messages. The software comes with a pre-trained filter as a basic database, which detects between 90-99% of incoming advertising emails.

QMailFilter integrates seamlessly into MS Outlook, scanning and quarantining junk emails. All spam emails caught by QMailFilter are diverted to a dedicated folder aptly called Spam and Virus folder under the inbox, which makes it easier for users to manage. The software comes with a pre-trained filter or data bank that contains characteristics from almost 10,000 classified advertising emails and 1,000 classified normal emails. The database contains about 180,000 entries of spam words making it challenging for advertisers to evade detection.

Unlike other software, QMailFilter allows users to manage their friends and enemies lists, create their filters, or block messages written in unsolicited emails.
