What truly sets qrq apart, however, is its carefully crafted CW tone generator. In order to avoid key clicks, the software shapes the CW signal form by amplitude-modulating it with a sine function. You can even set rise and fall times to any specific value in milliseconds.
New features for this release include the ability to display speeds in both WpM and CpM, as well as access to different CW waveforms including sine, sawtooth, and squarewave. Backspace should now work correctly in all terminals, and a new Perl script 'qrqscore' is available to synchronize your local toplist with the internet toplist.
