This software allows you to capture thumbnails when needed, record videos or take pictures from your Web cam or DV Cam flux in avi divx format, and then convert it to any format you desire. It supports conversion for video game consoles such as Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, PS3, and Nintendo DS. In addition, it features its multi-format media player.
The application has three user modes, Easy mode is very intuitive, designed for all users; it features standard conversion settings to enable users to convert without having any particular skills. It offers simple conversion in 3-5 clicks and now includes custom resizing possibilities and thumbnail captures.
Expert mode is designed for skilled and more experienced users, allowing more flexibility and more specialized conversion settings such as cropping, bitrates, frequency rates, sizes, aspect ratio, and much more codecs for video and audio conversion for experts. It has an ffmpeg command line input box and a default presets library that also allows the saving of personal settings and two passes mode profiles support.
HD mode is separate and allows full HD conversions with many options. The software contains its own codecs, no need for addons, and supports KDDI, QCELP, and camstudio included screen activity and audio recorder.
This application has direct access to the efficient help forum through the application, and best of all, QMC has its own codec library for conversions; hence there is no need to install extra codec packs for conversions. It is based on the FFmpeg open-source code command-line program that is easy to use, and users have the convenience of converting large batches at once.
