QuickDial is a Thunderbird extension that enables automatic dialling of selected telephone numbers.
QuickDial is an auto-dialer extension for Thunderbird that offers a seamless way to initiate a phone call to the selected telephone number. However, in order to enjoy its benefits, the user must sign-up with at least one of the providers listed. These providers include alternate long-distance providers, dial-around providers, VOIP providers, and more. This means that any type of provider can be listed in QuickDial.
One of the benefits of QuickDial is its ability to call the user's preselected telephone (home phone, cellular telephone, etc) once the user initiates a call. Through the selected provider, the call will be connected to the chosen telephone number once it's answered. It's also worth noting that users can subscribe with multiple providers to take advantage of the best rates for specific destinations. For future versions of QuickDial, it has been advised that it'll be able to automatically suggest the least expensive provider to use, which is an added bonus.
