The Refractory Lining Thermal Modeller (RLTM) is a software program designed for modelling heat flows through furnace, heater, and kiln linings in a fast and efficient manner. This program is available for both Mac OSX and Windows operating systems.
The program has a user-friendly interface, where materials can be easily dragged and dropped onto a lining model. The materials can then be resized and repositioned with ease. Hot face and ambient temperatures, material thickness, and environmental factors can also be adjusted and are reflected live in the model window. The program also allows multiple resizable windows to be open simultaneously for the comparison of potential linings.
RLTM supports entry of materials in both ASTM and metric systems, and produces results in either system. Lining models can also be printed out and saved to disk for future reference.

Demo versions of the software are available for download, and once registered, they are fully enabled.
