I recently had the opportunity to revisit one of my earliest creations from my teenage years - an After Dark module called Rypple. To satisfy my nostalgia, I decided to rewrite it for OS X, and I must say that the results are impressive.
Being originally designed on an 80 MHz first-generation Power Mac, I was curious to see how the performance would improve with modern hardware. Suffice it to say, the difference is rather dramatic.
The new version of Rypple is much faster, smoother, and more responsive. I was pleasantly surprised to see how seamlessly it integrated with the modern OS X interface.
Overall, I'm thrilled with the updated version of Rypple. It's a testament to the power of modern hardware and software development, and it's nice to have a piece of my past resurface in a new and improved form.
