SB Timmy is a reliable IMAP client specifically designed for WAP/WML devices. The SB Timmy project offers full support to MIME, which enables users to download attachments on their mobile devices and also facilitates sending mail via SMTP.
The software handles all types of MIME, including the ones encoded with base64, quoted-printable, and multipart messages. It also allows users to send messages through SMTP with ease. Plus, Timmy is multi-language, and it currently supports English and Lithuanian translations.
SB Timmy uses StableBeast.Net IMAP/MIME library, which can be conveniently used outside of Timmy as well. The latest release comes with several exciting new features, including modified settings in web.config such as 'SubjectLengthLimit,' 'SmtpServer' renamed to 'SmtpServers,' and 'SessionLog.'
Other notable new features include WML error pages, a brand new 'settings' page, and a provision that allows users to enter their name and surname so they can override some of the global settings. Additionally, users can write new messages and select the SMTP server to use, and their name and surname will automatically appear in the 'From' field if they have been set.
