SBIG Universal Driver provides necessary drivers for communication between SBIG USB cameras and any compatible software.
This software installer adds the necessary Universal Binary versions of the SBIG USB Drivers and the SBIG Universal Driver Library Framework to your system, without which any software interaction with SBIG USB cameras, such as SBIG's CCDOps Lite, would not be possible.
Upon installation, the software requires a system reboot before use. Once the reboot is complete, an SBIG USB camera can be connected to the USB port and powered on. Upon connecting, after a few seconds, the LED on the back of the camera should flash and the Fan should come on.
If all presented steps have been followed thoroughly, the link between the camera and the software should be established without any issues. With this software, your Macintosh will be equipped with the necessary drivers to support SBIG USB cameras.
