Send Entourage Tasks to OmniFocus Inbox

I recently used the Send Entourage Tasks to OmniFocus Inbox script and it has been a game changer for my productivity. The script allows you to select one or multiple Entourage tasks and creates a new task for each selection within OmniFocus. The name of each Entourage task is used as the task title, and the note of the task is used as the notes section of the new task created in OmniFocus.

Once the import is complete, the script will automatically switch you to OmniFocus and navigate to the Projects view and then to your Inbox, making it easy for you to access your new tasks. While the script does not set the context or project, it does include the ability to set the due date for each task. By default, the due date of the new OmniFocus task will be set to the due date of the Entourage task. However, this can be disabled by opening the script file and commenting the make new task line, then uncommenting the alternative make new task line.

Another great feature of the Send Entourage Tasks to OmniFocus Inbox script is its ability to import multiple tasks simultaneously. This means you can select all the emails you want to import and hit the hotkey. Even non-sequential tasks can be selected by using the command key.

The installation process is simple. All you need to do is place the unzipped script in your ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Entourage Script Menu Items/ directory. I highly recommend this script to anyone looking for an efficient and easy way to import Entourage tasks into OmniFocus.
