SharpWebMail is a C# written ASP.NET email system.
SharpWebMail is a fantastic ASP.NET webmail application that uses C# and supports both POP3 and IMAP servers as mail stores. Additionally, the software can send mail using an SMTP server. The program is incredibly easy to set up, with only a few settings needing to be adjusted in the web.config file.
This fully-featured webclient for mail comes equipped with all the necessary features you would expect, including the ability to compose HTML messages, search your inbox, read MIME messages, and have multiple address books. A couple of noteworthy features include the option to cache message information by only pulling headers to minimize necessary server queries and the ability to attach a file that you’ve previously received in another message without first downloading it – saving time and bandwidth.

It uses your email server for authentication, negating the need for additional databases. Plus, users can send email through an SMTP server, with support for SMTP AUTH.
