SnapShot Master

Snapshot Master is a powerful tool that interfaces with both VMWare's vCentre or Microsoft's System Centre Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) to give you important information about your virtual machine snapshots/checkpoints. With Snapshot Master, you can easily create snapshots on a schedule and then delete them after a certain number of days for a single or multiple VMs. You also have the option to snapshot the VM's memory and quiesce the file system.

Managing all the snapshots of your VMs is simple with Snapshot Master. You can consolidate your VMs snapshots, revert the snapshot of each VM to the most recent snapshot or the oldest snapshot, and delete snapshots in various ways including deleting all snapshots, deleting all except the most recent, or deleting all larger than a certain size.

With Snapshot Master, you will never forget about your snapshot schedule again. You can receive email reports of your snapshot schedules and reminders that your snapshots will automatically delete. Plus, Snapshot Master integrates with both VMware and Microsoft HyperV.

In addition to snapshot management, Snapshot Master provides a variety of other features to help with managing your VMs. You can schedule the power off and power on of a single or multiple VMs, remotely connect to a VM via Remote Desktop (RDP) directly from the Snapshot Master console, ping each VM and VMware or HyperV host, and connect to the VM's Computer Management Console. You can also execute Remote Powershell commands.

Snapshot Master also provides a wide range of reports to give you insight into your virtual environment. You can view all virtual machines with snapshots, all snapshots larger than a certain size or older than a certain number of days, and all snapshots with creator information. You can also view snapshots on specific virtual machines, virtual machines with alerts, virtual machines created or removed in the last (X) days, and virtual machines with less than (X)% free space. Snapshot Master also provides reports on all hosts with alerts, the top 5 hosts with the most used memory, the number of virtual machines per datastore, and datastores with less than (X)% free space.
