Spumoni is a powerful software that allows any program to be health-checked via SNMP, even if it is not SNMP-enabled. Admins can easily use enterprise-level monitoring programs like OpenNMS, Tivoli, OpenView, MTRG and RRDTool to monitor the performance of non-SNMP-enabled applications. The effectiveness of Spumoni is based on a native SNMP engine that's linked with a stats collection daemon. The entire software is highly configurable using modular XML files.
