As a devotional practitioner, one of the most significant aspects of my practice is observing the festival days outlined in the Vaisnava calendar. It is during these special days that Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja speaks on appropriate topics such as the appearance day of an incarnation of God or any other significant event.
Personally, I first met Swamiji, Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Propagator of Hare Krishna Mission, Iskcon, in 1950 when I was staying with my gurudeva in our temple in Calcutta. However, what really struck me was when I saw Gurudeva himself show great respect to a householder devotee who had arrived from Allahabad. At that moment, Gurudeva spoke to him with great love and affection, leading me to ask who this devotee was. My guru replied that he was Abhaya, Caranaravinda, fearless at the lotus feet of the Lord.
Overall, my experience with the software has been great, as it has enabled me to understand the significance of these festival days and gain a deeper understanding of my faith. I highly recommend this software to any practitioners looking to deepen their devotional practice.
