Staries II

I recently played Staries 2, a sequel to the popular Staries game. I found the game quite engaging and challenging, with rules similar to its predecessor- a grid of stars is presented to the player, and they can drag rows or columns of stars to connect 3 or more stars of the same colour. When connected, the stars disappear, and new ones are dropped from above.

There is a new feature in Staries 2 as compared to the previous game- the lock feature has been removed, and there is now a time limit for each level. To progress to the next level, you must connect enough stars within the given time limit. However, beware of the time penalty stars, marked with an icon. If you connect three or more, it will result in a time penalty, so it's best to avoid them whenever possible.

On the other hand, try to connect groups of four or more stars as it will award you a time bonus star. Connecting three or more of these bonus stars will not only give you some extra time, but it will also get rid of all the time penalty stars on the screen. As you progress through the levels, it becomes harder to clear them as you need to match more stars.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Staries 2 to any puzzle-game enthusiast. The game is simple to understand, but also challenging enough to keep you engaged for hours. With the added time limit feature and bonus stars, it makes the game even more addictive than its predecessor. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game and would definitely play it again!
