Stylet file manager is a Multiple Document Interface (MDI) file manager that stands out for being easy to use, intuitive, young, fresh, elegant, and good-looking. Although designed with a completely unorthodox approach, it only takes a little getting used to before managing files becomes easier and faster than ever before!
Unlike most file managers, which use a two-panel approach, Stylet File Manager allows you to use as many view-panels (or "view windows") as you want. People in our company usually use 5-6 at once, and we're sure that you'll find plenty of uses for them too!
While this file manager is not reinventing the wheel, it certainly does add some unique features. For example, the drag & drop function is outstanding, allowing you to easily drag files onto various buttons to move or copy them. You can even drop files onto the "Go Back" button to see what happens!
Other useful features include bookmarks (favorites), shortcuts, and sessions, which enables you to save any number of frequently visited folders and archives. Additionally, you can use AES ciphering and permanent file wiping for added security.
Stylet File Manager supports a wide range of file formats, including zip, rar, tar, gzip, bzip, arj, ace, lha, jar, and many others. You can even turn off those annoying "Are you sure...?" dialogs if you prefer, streamlining your file management experience.
Finally, the viewer can display various kinds of files in 38 image formats, HTML, txt, and rtf. You'll find that Stylet is not over-crowded or confusing, but rather an elegant and streamlined tool that will make file management simple and efficient.
