This software enables users to switch their taskbar items to either left or right by using a keyboard shortcut.
TaskbarSwitch is a compact KDE daemon that facilitates quick switching of taskbar items to the left or right with a Meta+Left/Right keyboard shortcut. The shortcut keys are customizable through Systemsettings->Keyboard&Mouse->Global Shortcuts->KDE daemon. It should be noted that the module must be loaded during KDE startup. Therefore, after installation, either restarting KDE or entering 'qdbus org.kde.kded /kded loadModule taskbarswitch' is required to activate it.
This feature was once available in Kicker in KDE3 but has yet to be implemented in Plasma. TaskbarSwitch was developed during the KDE4.3 feature freeze, and patches are now accepted in Plasma. However, if you are keen to contribute a patch, feel free to do so.
