TradUtil

I recently had the chance to try out TradUtil, a powerful editor and repair tool designed for the CompuTrac and MetaStock 3.01 security pricing data formats. As someone who frequently works with these file formats, I was eager to explore the tool's capabilities.

One of the standout features of TradUtil is its ability to work with both end-of-day and intraday file formats. This level of flexibility is essential for traders who need to be able to quickly access their data regardless of the format. Additionally, the tool supports manipulation of DOP files, although many modern programs no longer require this for reading and writing data.

Moving files between directories also becomes a breeze with TradUtil's file manager/explorer style front end. The utility uses a standard windows MDI Interface, allowing for multiple editor and/or directory windows to be open at the same time.
