The UCSD-pSystem-fs software enables Linux to mount UCSD p-System disk images as file systems.
The ucsd-psystem-fs project offers a solution for mounting UCSD p-System disk images as Linux file systems. Files in this file system are represented by a single continuous disk extent. The implementation of this project utilizes the Buffer Gap algorithm, which can handle two or more files open for writing simultaneously. However, the performance may decrease as disk blocks are continuously shuffled back and forth as the gap is moved to the end of each file.
This new release incorporates a ucsdpsys_mount -t option to convert text files on-the-fly. Additionally, the latest version supports read-only access for the Teledisk (.TD0) and ImageDisk (.IMD) formats.
