Umbrella

Umbrella is a plugin designed for RapidWeaver, the efficient web site generator from RealMac Software. This plugin functions to add an automatic backup feature to RapidWeaver. Anytime you publish or export your web site, Umbrella silently creates a backup of your current state in the background. This ensures that your RapidWeaver document is saved along with external items such as page assets and downloadable files.

With Umbrella, relaxation is guaranteed! You can make any change to your site without fear of losing a page. In case you decide to go back to a previous version, all you need to do is to open the backup folder, double-click the disk image and your files will be restored.

Umbrella is a very user-friendly tool. You only need to add an Umbrella page to your site and you're good to go! The default settings will take care of saving your RapidWeaver document only. However, if you want more control over the backup process, you can read the Instructions for more information about the parent folder mode.

To enjoy Umbrella, you need a RapidWeaver 3.5 or later version. However, it is important to note that the trial version of Umbrella only supports 50 free backups.
