unaceX

UnaceX is a software that offers a graphical interface for the command line tool Macunace. This software primarily covers Macunace's implemented options. First, UnaceX provides users with the option of displaying the full Macunace report during extraction within UnaceX's very own window. Additionally, whether or not files should be overwritten is also easily toggled on this software. This is also the case for the option to auto-extract ACE files in their source folder, although should this not be chosen, UnaceX will simply ask for the user's desired destination for the extracted files. Once the extraction process is completed, UnaceX will summon the folder containing the extracted files for convenience.

UnaceX was developed with ease of use in mind. For this reason, users can drag and drop ACE files into the main window, and they will be automatically uncompressed. Dragging and dropping files onto the application icon while UnaceX is inactive is also permissible. Additionally, UnaceX has been designed to launch automatically and start uncompressing files, should a user double-click on the ACE file.

UnaceX features the Aqua Life Style of MacOS, with the option of switching between aqua-style or brushed metal style windows. Users can also customize the opacity of windows as they please with UnaceX.
