Possible software review:

Upload Files is a Nautilus script that streamlines the process of uploading multiple files to servers. With this tool, you can easily send your files to popular upload servers including rapidshare.com and imageshack.us.

To use Upload Files, you need to have a Linux system with GNOME 2.x desktop environment and Nautilus file manager. In addition, you need to have Zenity for displaying the upload progress dialog, Curl for transferring files via HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and rsapi.pl, a Perl script that acts as a bridge between Curl and RapidShare API.

If you don't have rsapi.pl yet, you can download it from the script's website, but note that it's only available for non-commercial use. To install Upload Files, you simply need to copy rsapi.pl to the same directory as the script, or edit the path_rsapi variable if you put it elsewhere. You can also rename rsapi.pl to something like .rsapi.pl to hide it from view.

Once you have everything set up, you can right-click on one or more files in Nautilus and choose the "Upload Files" option from the context menu. This will open a dialog where you can select the target upload server, enter your login credentials (if required), and optionally set a password or description for the uploaded files. After clicking the "OK" button, Upload Files will take care of the rest, showing you a progress bar and notifying you when the upload is complete.

Overall, Upload Files is a useful tool for anyone who needs to transfer files to online storage or sharing services on a regular basis. While it's not a full-featured file manager or synchronization application, it does a good job of simplifying a common task and integrating with Nautilus workflow. The only downside is that it may not work with some servers or setups, so be sure to test it thoroughly before relying on it for critical transfers.
