WeatherCal

If you are someone who likes to plan ahead and stay updated with the weather forecasts, WeatherCal is the perfect software for you! This application provides users with access to the latest weather conditions and forecasts, up to five days in advance, as all-day events in iCal. With WeatherCal, you can easily keep track of predicted weather conditions and plan your days accordingly.

Installed via System Preferences, WeatherCal enables users to add their favorite cities to the list of locations. Users can access weather data from cities all over the world by entering the city name or ZIP/postal code. WeatherCal creates a unique calendar in iCal for each location added.

Each calendar consists of five days of forecast data which includes today's weather and the following four days. The application provides detailed information for each day, and a link to the Weather Underground forecast page for that specific day which easily accessible by just double-clicking on the event.

For those who own an iPod touch or iPhone, they can easily sync their calendars with the computer running iTunes and access the weather predictions on their pocket calendars too.
