With Siphome classic, outgoing calls to other SIP and IAX addresses are transferred normally along with the caller's name, or alternatively, the caller can choose to remain anonymous. When a call is terminated into the fixed line network, the caller's phone number is initially kept anonymous. However, the user has the option to transfer their existing phone number, even if it is from another provider, by going through a phone number validation process. Siphome uses a call-back method with a code, similar to ENUM, to validate phone numbers in a few minutes, and the phone number is then available for outgoing calls.

Additionally, Siphome comes with many local area networks and the nation-wide new 032-lane is also available. Basic charge tariffs include a telephone number, and extra numbers can be purchased. Incoming call routing can be configured in the web interface, including time-steered transmissions to multiple destinations at the same time. For incoming calls, there is an option to set up a transmission to another SIP or IAX address or a telephone number for the fixed line or mobile network.

Finally, when a client clicks the call-back-button, he types in his number, and the client is called back from the server.
