WideMail is a mail plugin that expands the view in mail windows to a wider screen, providing users with a more spacious reading and typing experience.
I have just tested out the latest Mail preference pane software, WideMail, and I am very impressed. One of the standout features of this product is the ability to change the Mail window into a widescreen format, which really gives your emailing experience a refresh. If you are someone who is getting bored of looking at the same old Mail.app window, then I would highly recommend giving WideMail a go.
One thing to note when installing or upgrading is that you will need to launch the "WideMail Installer" from the Disk Image (DMG). Once you have installed the software, you will be able to enjoy the many features that this product has to offer.
Some of the key features of WideMail include its Python Implementation, which ensures a seamless and flexible email system. With the option to choose the Widescreen Layout, you can customise your emailing experience to your liking. Additionally, there are several default preferences that can be set, such as Alternating Row Color and Divider Style.
One standout feature of WideMail is its ability to customise columns, such as the WideMail Column Top Row Format, WideMail Column Bottom Row Format, and WideMail Column Bottom Row Relative Font Size Difference, just to name a few. You can also change the text color for the WideMail Column, Bottom Row to really make your inbox pop. On top of all that, WideMail even has Relative date display for "Today" and "Yesterday" making it easier on the eyes when filtering through emails.
Overall, I am very happy with the WideMail product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try out a new and refreshing email experience.
