Are you an avid user of XMMS and Gaim? Look no further than xmmscurrsong! This handy plugin displays the current song being played in XMMS within your Gaim chat window. The installation process is simple: just copy the xmmscurrsong plugin file into the ~/.gaim/plugins directory and check it off under Preferences>Tools. If you prefer to compile the plugin yourself, make sure you have the necessary src of gaim (version 0.80 or higher), place file.c in the gaim-0.80/plugins directory, then run the commands ../configure, make xmmscurrsong.so, and LDFLAGS=-lxmms. Finally, copy the .so file(s) into ~/.gaim/plugins to start using xmmscurrsong immediately.
