Yafumato Web Messenger is an excellent web-based instant messenger client that allows users to connect to various instant messenger services using a web browser via HTTP (or HTTPS). It works by connecting to the messengers via a proxy and providing the web interface to the user, which means that instant messaging from computers where a desktop client cannot be used is now possible.

It is worth noting that Yafumato Web Messenger is currently alpha software. As such, it has minimal error handling and is not feature complete. However, this software has been recently updated. In this release, the user can now login using messenger credentials instead of a single sign-on using the database. This update has made database usage optional.

Moreover, messenger session handling has been improved, and any active messenger sessions can now be restored upon sign-in. Additionally, unstable messenger sessions can be disconnected and replaced using the new "Reset Messenger" link on the status page.

In conclusion, Yafumato Web Messenger is a great option for those who prefer to use instant messaging services without having to install desktop clients. Although still in alpha, the recent updates have made this software more user-friendly and efficient.
