Active MIDI DJ Console

Active MIDI DJ Console is a unique ActiveX control that receives MIDI data from an external MIDI device's input channel and notifies the container application upon its reception. With its advanced capabilities, Active MIDI DJ Console can effectively manage the input/output of MIDI data with commercially available DJ Consoles on the market. Each MIDI DJ Console has its own unique set of MIDI commands for different functions, such as notifying about the movement of the knob control or when a button control is pushed. It also has a set of MIDI commands that switches LED on/off or displays characters on display segments (VFD) of the physical console.

Active MIDI DJ Console comes with several methods that allow you to create, edit and modify profiles, also known as maps, for each connected DJ console. The creation of profiles enables the container application to virtually connect to any model of DJ console supporting the MIDI protocol, allowing the final user to create bespoke connections for the DJ console or use the profiles created by other users.

One of the fantastic features of Active MIDI DJ Console is its ability to create a graphical virtual piano keyboard that displays the notes played on a connected physical MIDI piano keyboard. Simultaneously, it generates MIDI notes to send to an output MIDI device or synthesizer installed inside the system.
