Advanced WMA Workshop

Advanced WMA Workshop is an encoder/decoder software that comes with a Windows Explorer-like interface. With this software, you can encode multiple file types, including WAV, MP3, OGG, AAC (M4A, M4B), FLAC, APE, and tracks of Audio CD, to the WMA 11 (Windows Media Audio 11) format. Moreover, you can choose from a variety of format settings, such as WMA 11 with constant bitrate, quality-based WMA 9 format with variable bitrate, two-pass bitrate-based WMA 11 format with variable bitrate, and WMA 9 Lossless format, which allows you to store your digital audio with the best quality. The software also allows you to convert WMA, MP3, OGG, AAC, FLAC, and APE files to the WAV PCM format and convert WMA files to the MP3 format using the LAME encoder 3.98.2.

In addition, you can convert WMA to OGG Vorbis format, and resample WMA files. The software also allows you to edit ID3v2 Tags and copy them from MP3 to WMA or from M4A to MP3 files while recoding. Advanced WMA Workshop supports creating and appending to Winamp playlists.

The software internally supports WMA 9 and WMA 8 formats, and with the jitter correction feature, you can avoid sound gaps when ripping scratched CDs. The software also supports CDDB that gives you the ability to get album and artist names, and information on tracks' names and other information about Audio CD disks.
