Akasa

Akasa is a retro shooter that combines the elements of Uridium and Xevious. The game is set in the concluding phase of the war between the evil robotic empire of Samsara and the republic of humanity. The Samsaran empire is doomed and their final act is to attempt to unravel the fabric of the universe by placing 15 nuclear warheads at critical junctures in space-time. The player's responsibility is to save the world by preventing the detonation of these warheads.

Akasa's visual style is an ode to the 80s C64 classics like Impossible Mission, Uridium, and Paradroid. The rendering of 3D objects is done in a limited palette of bright colors that create the vibe of retro games. The gameplay is the main attraction of Akasa, as it's fiercely challenging and rewarding to the persistent and skilled players.
