Aloha CCP

Aloha CCP is a credit card processing solution designed to handle various payment transactions such as authorization, capture, charge, credit, and void. It leverages the secure platform of Authorize.Net's payment gateway to handle payments. To use Aloha CCP, an Authorize.Net account is required, and a demo account is available for 10 days.

The latest release of Aloha CCP includes several new features and improvements. One notable enhancement allows users to capture a lesser amount than the original authorization when capturing a previously authorized transaction. Additionally, users will no longer experience graphic defects when scrolling to the last row in the transactions area. Another significant improvement is the removal of the requirement for an Authorize.Net Transaction Key on MacOS X, thereby eliminating the need for the Troi URL Plug-in dependency.

However, the most significant change in this release is the licensing structure, which has shifted from freeware to expiring shareware. With a few other minor improvements, Aloha CCP now requires an AuthorizeNet payment gateway account to work effectively. Overall, Aloha CCP is a competent solution that simplifies credit card processing, but users should carefully review the licensing changes before making a commitment.
