ATAF is an automatic database conversion software that can easily convert a Microsoft Access or ODBC database to HTML form with fields of your choosing. The software can convert databases like Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, IBM DB2, or Lotus Notes. It also creates the necessary Active Server Pages (ASP) code and navigation buttons for your website.
ATAF generates seven HTML pages with ASP code, which includes a login page with optional username and password protection, a menu page, a form view that allows you to navigate, edit, create, copy, and delete records like in MS-Access. The software generates a page formatted for a print-out of your form, a list view where you see all the records and select one for editing, a search view where you can search and edit through your records, and an SQL enter page where you can manually execute SQL statements on your database.
The ATAF app works on top of your database to produce an HTML form that is customizable. You have numerous options available to change the design of your ATAF application, such as font size and color, background color, headers and footers, and much more, and it supports a CSS format. In version 5.0, a menu editor was included in the software to customize the menus generated by ATAF.
It is now possible to save your settings in different profiles so that you don't have to enter them each time you create an ASP application. ATAF supports color templates for adding a format to your application quickly. The software eliminates the need to make any ASP or HTML code; ATAF does everything for you.
