It currently supports both mp3 and ogg files, and playback is done by xmms, or you can use drag and drop with other players.

To use the player, select a directory that includes .ogg files by clicking the scan button over the list to the right. You can also select the / directory to get all the .ogg files on your system. After the scan is complete, you can double-click on a track to add it to the playlist, and the track will be played while in queue.
To run Autogg, you require a Linux PC, and it probably works with other POSIX compliant systems as well, although they are yet to test this assertion.
