The software provides numerous features to analyze these sightings such as year, day, month, geophysical area, pelagic status, species, state, and species form. You can even filter the sightings by a combination of these parameters. The software is easy to use, and one can analyze the data quickly and accurately.
The Linux demo version of Avendex is also available, and we suggest purchasing the full Windows or Mac OS X versions to obtain it. After installation, ensure to drag the demo folder to the trash and empty the trash. The software comes bundled with the Linux version, and the CD contains a tar file that can be easily copied to your Linux system and extracted.
