BitNami MediaWiki Module

The BitNami MediaWiki Module is a distribution of MediaWiki that is extremely user-friendly. Initially designed for Wikipedia, MediaWiki is a wiki software now used by numerous non-profit Wikimedia Foundation projects and other wikis. This software was built to handle a large server farm for a website that receives millions of daily hits.

The BitNami Platform provides a simple, fast way to install multiple applications that can share resources such as a database, web server, and language runtime. To begin using BitNami Modules, one must download BitNami LAMPStack for Linux, or MAMPStack, WAMPStack, or SAMStack for Mac, Windows, or Solaris, respectively. Then, one may select the application Modules they want to use on top of it. Every Module includes an application that's ready to go and will be automatically configured to function with one's BitNami Platform installation. Installing Modules is quick and seamless, taking just a few mouse clicks. Uninstalling is equally straightforward - the uninstaller will remove files from the user's operating system while still leaving the Platform and other programs untouched.
