Blobby Volley

Blobby Volley has been a popular freeware game for quite some time now, and for good reason. Firstly, its simple play principle makes it an easy game to pick up for anyone, but secondly, the humorous design of the player adds a unique touch to the game. Another reason why Blobby Volley is so popular is the short duration of each game, making it a great way to pass the time.

Since its first release in November 2000, the developers of Blobby Volley have been hard at work implementing new features and supporting different languages. Version 1.8, developed by Daniel Skoraszewsky and Silvio Mummert, was the latest release. While it is currently the last version available, a group of developers in Germany, with the help of the Blobby League, are working on something even better: Blobby Volley 2, the official continuation of the game.

But simply continuing the game wasn't enough for these developers. Along with improvements to the gameplay, they have also translated the source code into C++ and SDL/OpenGL. Additionally, they've taken into consideration the feedback from the players of Blobby Volley 1.8 to ensure that every wish is granted in the development of the game. The result is a game that has the charm of Blobby Volley 1.8 combined with various innovations and corrections.
