This game requires you to battle fiercely to reach the highest level and score possible. The objective is to eliminate all enemies on the blue team in each advancing stage. To control your ship, use the forward, rotate left, and rotate right keys. Each ship has three weapons, with the range of the weapons in descending order - weapon 1 being the longest range and weapon 3 being the shortest range.

To refill your weapons, fly over a planet designated by its halo, press the refill button, and you'll receive 50% of your health back and 33% of your ammo. There are five weapons, with rockets being the most powerful, followed by homing missiles, flame-throwers, lasers, and machine guns. The rockets are ideal for delivering the final blow, while the homing missiles are accurate and require intense effort to evade. Flame-throwers are great for killing large groups, but they are slow firing and drain energy. The laser is a pure energy weapon that is good for use when low on other ammo, while the machine gun disperses a lot of bullets, but its damage is low.

The default keys are: w (move forward), a (turn left), d (turn right), j (weapon 1), k (weapon 2), l (weapon 3), r (refill), p (pause), and tab (targets the closest target). Use the arrow keys or mouse to navigate the menu, and use ESC to go back one level, for example, to return from the options screen to the main menu.

Installation is simple, just drag BOB2 to where you want to play it from. However, keep in mind that it cannot be played off a CD or other such read-only devices. Overall, BOB2 is an exciting game that requires quick reflexes and strategy to succeed.
