The goal of the game is the same in both single and multiplayer modes. You need to shoot and destroy groups of at least three balls of the same color to score points. However, in the multiplayer mode, you need to do more than just score points. You also need to attack your opponent and turn their balls into stones. This will prevent them from making any moves and give you the upper hand.
When the game starts, you'll see multiple color balls that are piled up in rows slowly descending from the top of the play area. You need to use the launcher at the bottom of the screen to shoot a group of three or more balls of the same color and destroy them. When you do this, any pieces attached to the destroyed group of balls will also be eliminated.
Your rival's play area will be displayed on the right side of the screen, allowing you to see their game's progress. If you drop five balls containing the destroyed pieces in one go, three of your rival's balls will be turned into stones, making them unable to be removed. Additionally, every two pieces you drop on top of those five pieces will turn two more of your opponent's balls into stones.
The game gets interesting when you are under attack as well. You can destroy the junk by dropping them with the balls, so it's not just about shooting and destroying groups. If you manage to drop two pi, you'll activate a special move that'll help you get ahead in the game.
