The installation process is quite standard and may be done by running the command sequence './configure --with-cairo', 'make', 'make install'. To enable the detection and usage of the Cairo 2D graphic library, use the '--with-cairo' flag. Whilst it is not required, it does offer some additional features (as outlined later). For a localized installation, use the command './configure --prefix=/home/yourusername/local --with-cairo', before running 'make' and 'make install'.
After installation, you may need to guide your system to the Box executable. This can be done by adding 'export PATH=$PATH:~/local/bin' at the end of the bashrc file in your home directory (which is a hidden file: '~/.bashrc'). Note that this step is not critical, but it will make using Box smoother.
