The TryChess project is a multiplayer online chess game that started as a test to try PHP5's new features. However, it has grown into a nearly complete chess game with a plethora of features. Here are some of the key highlights of TryChess:

The requirements to use TryChess include:
- PHP >=5
- Apache (IIS not tested yet)
- MySQL
The latest release includes significant improvements and fixes, and is essentially fully functional. You can play complete chess games with most of the rules, and user management works (although it could still use some improvement). Additionally, an installer has just been added to TryChess. Overall, this game has a lot going for it and is worth checking out for chess enthusiasts.
